How NZ is doing with Covid-19
New Zealand has probably been one of the best countries to have handled Covid-19. We've already passed our peak of the amount of cases and very soon we'll all be back at our schools, jobs and catch-ups. Compared to countries such as the United States, our government is doing a great job. I think everyone is doing the best they can to social distance and stop the spreading of the Coronavirus. However, some people are disobeying the lockdown rules and are still socialising, meeting up and other similarities.

Maddie, I agree, the Government management of the risks has put us in a better place than if they had not been so strong in their management. Coming out from Lockdown is going to still be restrictive and it will be then that we will all need to adjust to the new ways we need to run our everyday lives to continue maintaining a safe health environment. As you point out there are some people who will work against the guidelines. The slogan "Be Kind" needs to be embraced by everyone as it has so many layers to it in managing the risks and the way we respond to each other. Hopefully, as time goes on the people who downplay the risks an choose to go against the guidelines will see how their choices impact others.
